Jan 02, 2010 · Same problem, set the adapter to 100Mb full it works. Set it to 1000Mb or auto and I get the Cable Unplugged message. Wierd thing. This same PC was running Windows 7 64bit and it worked fine on auto at 1000Mb. All I did was reinstall Windows 7 64bit (Clean Install) off the same DVD and now i have the problem.
