Mar 15, 2018 active directory - How can I log into a Domain controller I have a windows 2008 R2 standalone Domain Controller that I restored from backup. The original DC is offline. When I log in with valid user credentials I get the error: "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship" How can I log into the domain controller and fix whatever is broken? Domain admin cannot remote desktop to domain controller When you add people to the remote desktop group then it indeed gives them access to log into the domain controller. They do not have administrative rights however. The installation went fine with no errors. However, If I login to web client with credentials that are domain admin and thus was in the local Admnistrators group of the vCenter server and thus should have vCenter Administrator access. (in pre 5.1 days) I do not have any vCenters in inventory.
